We were born in 2003 with the aim to overcome the artisan dimension of the “Prevasud” company, founded in 1995 and specialized in industrial lifting.
As a new company, beside the decision to maintain a high standard in the department of industrial lifting, we have immediately concentrated part of our energies in the development of finned tubes for industrial heat exchangers.
Today, thanks to our strategic position inside an industrial area with a large presence of important petrochemical companies, and thanks to our industrial reliability, we are proud to mention a long time partnership with the most important customers in the sector.
The production of finned tubes is carried out in the main headquarters in Vibo Valentia (South Italy) with the latest generation machinery with which it is possible to produce different types of finning: with extrusion and insertion G and /or L,  scrupulously respecting the MPP (Manufacturing Process Plan) developed by our highly qualified staff.
The long technical experience gained in almost 20 years is our best business card; but not only this, it is the quality of our production that has allowed us to consolidate our reputation as a reliable and punctual company. Prevarin Srl has become synonymous with great experience, both in the area of special transport and in the production of finned tubes for industrial use.

Type G and L Finned Tubes Production

The “G Type” wedged fin technique includes the wrapping of the fin tape directly on the tube, ensuring maximum heat exchange. The pin fin technique includes instead a tensioned tape on the tube, secured with a “L” or “double L” folded pin on the base of the tube for greater resistance.

Extruded Finned Tubes Production

This type of finned tube has an internal core and an external section compressed and machined by rotating blades that create a groove. In this way an integrated transverse fin (extrusion) with high heat exchange capacity is obtained.

The finned tubes are widely used in the petrochemical and industrial sectors to transmit or recover heat and to cool boilers in specific ventilation systems. Our finned tubes are produced in three different types that guarantee a much higher heat transfer coefficient than the other traditional finned tubes, thanks to the technical continuity between the two materials, tube and fin.

Type G and L Finned Tubes

The G type finned tubes have a fin embedded on the basis of the tube, while in L type finned tubes the fin is built on the base tube. These solutions are normally used as components on air coolers, cooling units and air condensers. They are widely used in the field of petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, steel mills, power stations, incinerators and more. Our finned tubes can be produced according to the following technical variables:

Base tube
External diameter: from 1″ to 2″
Thickness: from 9 to 16 BWG
Materials: low carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, copper alloy

Fin
External diameter: from 2  1/4″ to 3″
Number of fins for 1″: from 8 to 11
Materials: 99,5% aluminium, copper

Both the base tube and the tape for the fin are provided with certificates regarding the materials type 3.1.B, and in accordance with the terms requested by the customer.

Extruded Finned Tubes

This type of finned tube, unlike the others that use the tape to form a fin, is constructed by the base tube inserted into another tube called jacket, which will give origin, by extrusion, to the formation of the fins during the finning process.
This type of finned tube is widely used in petrochemical, chemical, steel mills, power stations, incinerators and more. It is in use, in particular, in specific dusty plants (steel mills, coal plants and others systems) as the finned surface is easier to wash. We provide them with the same dimensional characteristics of the other types of finned tube.

Base tube
Materials: carbon steal, stainless steel, alloy steels, copper steel

Jacket
Materials: 99,5% aluminium, copper

Provided with certificates type 3.1.B, and in accordance with the terms requested by the customer.

Our finned tubes are prepared for shipment with wooden packaging, cages or cases, suitable for road, sea or air shipments, completed with stamps and labels according to law requirements.
We work under a large covered area or in an equivalent open area with the support of lifts, cranes and special vehicles for heavy exceptional transportation throughout Italy and Europe [Prevarin Srl – Special and Exceptional Transports Division].
